The pressure difference monitors from the DELTA product family are primarily used to monitor and control low pressure differences where there are many conditions in terms of one-way pressure and static pressure.
Typical markets for these products include the shipbuilding industry, heating technology, heating industry, air conditioning, water/wastewater industry, and machine building. For these, the main function of measuring instruments is to monitor filters, compressors and pumps.
DELTA-Comb finds its use wherever a pressure difference is indicated locally and at the same time, the circuits must be safely switched to the defined pressure difference. As the pressure passes above or below a set point, the switching function is performed. The switch point is accessible from the front and can be set in the range of 10 … 100% of the full scale via the assistant scale.
Often in these applications, in addition to indicating the pressure difference, the current working pressure is also required.

Contact pressure indicators find their application wherever process pressure is to be indicated locally and at the same time limit values are to be monitored. The contacts close or open the circuit switch depending on the pointer position of the measuring device. If the pressure value is significantly higher or lower than the set value, they activate an alarm, hence the term “alarm contact”. Contact pressure monitors are suitable for starting, stopping or changing processes.
