Wherever the process pressure is indicated locally and at the same time, the circuits also need to be changed, the model DPGS43HP.1×0 switchGAUGE finds its application. Pressure indicators with contact (electrical switch contact) open or close an electrical control circuit that depends on the position of the pointer of the measuring device. The switch contacts are adjustable over the entire scale range (see DIN 16085), and are mostly located below the scale, although in some cases they are also above the scale. The instrument indicator (actual value indicator) moves freely over the entire scale range, independent of the setting.
These models consist of several contacts and can also be set in a set point. The pressure device is manufactured in accordance with DIN 16085 and fulfills all the requirements of the relevant standards (EN 837-3) and the regulations regarding the display of pressure workplaces and the operation of pressure vessels.
Contact switch, magnetic shock absorber, reed switches, induction contacts and electronic contact are available. Inductive contact can be used in hazardous areas. Electronic contacts and reed switches can be used to trigger programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

Contact pressure monitors are used wherever process pressure is to be indicated locally and at the same time limit values are to be monitored. The contacts close or open the circuit switch depending on the pointer position of the measuring device. If the pressure value is significantly higher or lower than the set value, they activate an alarm, hence the term “alarm contact”. Contact pressure monitors are suitable for starting, stopping or changing processes.
